As the summer heats up, so do the happenings around town! In
July, we celebrate freedom and love for our country. So what better way to
celebrate, than to have Mount Dora host its Old Fashioned July 4th Event.
The entire day is filled with activities for everyone to enjoy. From the
entire 5th Avenue Cafe family to yours - Happy 4th of July. We'll be open
all day to join in the festivities!

This
Friday, July 4th visit downtown Mount Dora in all its glory as we kick
off our holiday celebration, an Old Fashioned Fourth of July. Events
begin at 10am with the holiday parade, with live music in Donnelly Park
from 11:30am-7pm.
At the Cafe, we'll be having our own celebration, featuring live musical
entertainment for your dining pleasure from 7-9pm. Then enjoy the grand
fireworks finale as the sky over Lake Dora is lit, display presented by
the City of Mount Dora and the Mount Dora Rotary Club. See below for

Organic Food & Artists Market

Time: 10am - 2pm
The
Mount Dora Center for the Arts is presenting its monthly Organic Food
& Artists Market. This event is being held at the Center, directly
next door from the Cafe. Visit the outdoor market to shop for locally
made & eco friendly products, art and much more! Fun for the entire
family.
5th Avenue Cafe will be participating in this month's market, offering
fresh organic fruit, organic coffee (fresh brewed & whole beans), as
well as ready to eat goodies!. After shopping, please visit 5th
Avenue Cafe for Brunch, served from 10am-3pm and enjoy the wonderful
tastes that only organic foods can provide!

The Downtown Mount Dora Art Stroll -

Mount Dora Downtown Art Stroll is designed to encourage residents and
visitors to enjoy the historical and cultural heart of the city while
supporting one of our most valuable resources - our artist community of
Central Florida.
The event is free to the public and his hosted by the City of Mount Dora
and the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce. Walk about and explore
wonderful local artwork while enjoying refreshments & nibbles from 6-9pm.
Look for the red carpet & balloons at each venue; maps are available
from the Chamber.
